Finance Minister releases new commemorative coin



A special commemorative coin having Paramhansa Yogananda embossed has been released by the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to embark the auspicious birth anniversary of Paramhansa Yogananda. The legendary personality is remembered as the ‘Father of Yoga’ as he was the founder of the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India and the Self-Realization Fellowship and was the one who made people understand the need of Meditation and Kriya Yoga and emphasized on Self-Realization. This year the nation is celebrating the 125th birth anniversary of the Paramhansa Yogananda. Finance Minister Sitharaman, in her speech, said “Here was a yogi who took the message which was universal message not based one particular school of thought or religion and made it so acceptable for the whole world.”

Centre aims to provide breast milk to at least 70% of the infants by 2025



The Central Government of India has released a Notice which says that the government is now adopting the Brazil Model of creating a network of human milk banks. This time the Government is aiming to provide breast milk to at least 70% of the infants that are born every year by 2025. If this target is achieved then the government will take new measures to feed breast milk to 100% of the infants every year to achieve the target of infant mortality rate.

Harvard Business Review released a list of ‘The Best-Performing CEOs in the World, 2019.’



Harvard Business Review has recently released a list of the Top Best Performing CEOs in the World for the year 2019. In the list, NVIDIA, an American Technology Company’s CEO Jensen Huang has been ranked first. The list has been complied, taking into consideration 100 CEOs and out of which in the top 10 positions, three Indian CEOs are in the 6th, 7th, and 9th spot. Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen has grabbed the 6th position in the list, whereas MasterCard CEO Ajay Banga has been allotted the 7th rank, and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella got into the 9th spot. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has been at the top of the list since 2014, but this year he was not on the list because of Amazon’s low ESG (Environment, social, and Government) score. The list has been made considering different attributes and ranks the CEOs accordingly, and it is a proud moment for India that three Indian CEOs are placed in the top ten.
