Prime Minister Modi delivers his speech at 1st India- Caribbean leaders’ summit
Prime Minister Modi was present in the 1st India-Caricom leaders’ Summit in New York. The summit concentrated on fighting climate change and uplifting India’s participation with the group. PM Modi declared 14 million US Dollars grant for the development projects and a line of credit of 150 million US dollars for projects like solar, renewable energy, and climate change. Recapitulating India's firm duty to strengthen its political, economic and cultural engagement with Caricom, the Prime Minister recollect the presence of more than a million-strong Indian diaspora as a great link of friendship with the Caribbean.
Prime Minister Modi summons top American CEOs to invest in India
During his address at the Bloomberg Global Business Forum in New York, PM Narendra Modi invited top American CEOs to invest in India. He stated that Digital India and Startups are the priorities of the government of India. He also called attention to the four factors ( Democracy, Demography, Demand, and Decisiveness) that makes India authentic for investors and unique as well. Prime Minister Modi also conveyed that the skill set of Indian business leaders and speed of government can increase global economic growth.
Government reconstitutes Economic Advisory Council to PM
Bibek Debroy continuing as the Chairman and Ratan P. Watal continuing as the Member Secretary, the government reconstituted the Economic Advisory Council to Prime Minister Modi. There will be two full-time and two part-time members in the Council. Dr. Ashima Goel will be continuing to be one of the Part-Time Members here as Dr. Sajjid Chinoy has been appointed as another Part-time Member.
