1st edition of Global Dhaka Dialogue in Bangladesh from 12-14 November 2019



Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the First Edition of Dhaka Global Dialogue, a three-day programme organised jointly by New Delhi based Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS)

NASA. The programme has been started on 11th November 2019 and will continue till 13th November 2019 in Bangladesh. More than 150 delegates from 50 countries participated in the summit to discuss the global issues about the Indo-Pacific region. The delegates from different sectors including Policymakers, lawmakers, scholars, strategic experts, etc. The geographical location of Bangladesh is dominant and strategic, and therefore it acts as a bridge between South Asia and South-East-Asia.

NASA exhibits its 1st electric plane



The National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) recently showcased an early version of the 1st All-Electric experimental aircraft, X-57 “Maxwell” at their aeronautics lab established in the California Desert. NASA earlier build the Bullet-shaped Bell X-1 and the X-15 rocket plane, and now they have come up with the latest experimental aircraft with the latest Italian made Tecnam P2006T twin-engine propeller and has specially designed lithium-ion batteries to get juiced up. The newly launched aircraft will be NASA’s 1st crewed plane developed in two decades. X-57 aircraft hasn’t been flown yet, but it is ready for the press to view it. Currently the aircraft is in its “Mod II” configuration.


Shooter Saurabh Chaudhary secures Silver at the 14th Asian Championship in Doha



In the ongoing 14th Asian Championship organized at Doha Indian Shooter, Saurabh Chaudhary bagged the Second Position getting the silver medal in men’s 10-meter air pistol event. The 17-year-old had a score of 244.5 finishing second position, and North Korea’s shooter Kim Song Guk scored 246.5 finishing first position. The North Korean Shooter broke the world record, which was earlier made by Saurabh Chaudhary at the ISSF World Cup with a score of 246.3.
